Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
Upon arrival, meet your professional driver at the airport for a 45-minute transfer to the heart of Hanoi (Old Quarter). Enjoy scenic views of the Red River and the city’s unique architecture. Upon arrival in the city center, check in at your hotel. Rooms are available from 2:00 PM.
08:30 AM – Meet your tour guide and begin your exploration of Hanoi. Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, built in the 11th century. Discover the World Heritage-listed stone steles, and continue your tour through the French Quarter, known for its tree-lined boulevards and colonial architecture.
In the afternoon, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside view), Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, and the One Pillar Pagoda, a symbol of Hanoi. Enjoy a scenic walk across Long Bien Bridge, an architectural marvel. Conclude your day with a traditional water puppet show, an art form dating back to the 11th century, depicting rural life and folklore.
08:00 AM – Depart for Chuong Village, famous for crafting Vietnam’s iconic conical hats. Engage with artisans and try your hand at making one yourself. Continue to Quang Phu Cau Village, renowned for its vibrant incense-making tradition, a paradise for photographers.
Visit Ha Thai Lacquer Village, known for its exquisite lacquerware. Join a local craftsman for a guided tour of different workshops and create your own lacquer piece as a unique souvenir.
Morning pickup for a comfortable 6-hour drive to Sapa. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore the town’s attractions such as Sapa Market, Ham Rong Mountain, or Cat Cat Village.
08:00 AM – Drive 5 km west of Sapa for a trek through Y Linh Ho Village, home to the Black Hmong ethnic group. Walk along buffalo trails and admire stunning valley views. Continue to Lao Chai Village, where you will meet a Hmong artisan preserving the art of traditional indigo dyeing. Proceed to Ta Van Village, home to the Dzay people, known for their picturesque rice terraces and warm hospitality.
08:00 AM – Visit Silver Waterfall before heading to Ban Khoang Village, an isolated Red Dao settlement. Embark on a 12 km trek through scenic rice terraces and mountain trails. Visit a local family to experience the unique customs of the Red Dao ethnic group.
Late afternoon transfer back to Hanoi.
Morning departure for Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s historic capital (2.5 hrs drive). Visit the ancient temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties before heading to Tam Coc for lunch. Enjoy a serene boat trip along the river, passing through caves and limestone karst formations. Return to Hanoi by evening.
Morning pickup for a 3-hour drive to Halong Bay, passing scenic rice fields and rural landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your cruise and enjoy a delicious lunch as the boat sets sail. Participate in onboard activities or relax while admiring the bay’s breathtaking limestone formations. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on the cruise.
Start the day with a breathtaking sunrise over Halong Bay. After breakfast, continue exploring hidden caves and islets before the cruise returns to port. Transfer back to Hanoi in the afternoon.
