Our first destination is the Silver Waterfall, we will have a short photo stop and move on to Tram Ton (1,945m), the highest pass in Vietnam, to start the demanding climb to the Fansipan peak. Approximately after 8 hours trekking through primitive forest, paddling many small streams and climbing many steep cliffs we reach the 2,800m stop, our H’mong porter helps to set up tents and prepare our dinner. Spending the night in the wild nature at this height will be one of the most memorable experiences you have in Vietnam.
After breakfast, we will continue our tough climbing to the summit. At some points we are need to use ropes and harnesses for safety. On a clear day you have a fantastic view from the summit. Rest on the top and enjoy your achievement with a picnic lunch. After lunch we will descent to camp base at 2,800m have a small break then proceed to Tram Ton to get transferred back to Sapa by car.
