Begin your journey with a warm welcome from our friendly guide as you set out to explore Hanoi City.
Tran Quoc Pagoda– Located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake, this is Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, dating back to the 6th century.
Ho Chi Minh Complex– View Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his embalmed body, and the historic houses where he lived and worked (1954–1969). Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. (Note: Dress modestly. The mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.)
Temple of Literature– Vietnam’s first university, founded in the 11th century.
Hoa Lo Prison Museum– A former French colonial prison and later used during the Vietnam War. American POWs referred to it as the “Hanoi Hilton.”
Ngoc Son Temple (Temple of the Jade Mountain)– Located on Hoan Kiem Lake, it honors Confucian and Taoist philosophers and the national hero Tran Hung Dao. Walk across the iconic The Huc Bridge for a stunning view.
Visit Hoa Lu, the historic capital of Vietnam, and explore the ancient temples of the Le and Dinh Dynasties.
