We will pick you up at airport then transfer to hotel. The rest of day is at your leisure. We recommend that you pay a visit to The Independence Palace. In walking distance from there you will find the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post which are well worth a visit. From there you can visit the War Remnants Museum or do shopping at Ben Thanh Market. The Ben Thanh market is the biggest in ho chi minh and you will find plenty choices of Vietnamese handicrafts, local delicacies, garments and small souvenirs. Other popular shopping places are Saigon Square 1 (Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street) or Saigon Square 3 Hai Ba Trung Street). Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Pick up service at your hotel around 8.15 am then depart for My Tho. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals.
Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the bus and return to HCMC. Back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the onward flight to Danang. On arrival in Danang, we transfer you to Hoi An by private car. On this 4-hour tour, you will start an early morning journey (5 AM pick-up time) with your tour guide from Hoi An to the ancient temples of My Son. After arriving at 6:00 for breakfast and coffee, you will then spend 2 hours walking around this UNESCO World Heritage Site with your guide to visit the many old temples. With this tour, you can admire the beauty of My Son Holy Land early in the morning, the greatest time of the day for exploring. At the valley of My Son, you will visit an important complex of Hindu temples that were continuously developed from teh 4th century to the 13th century. The rest of day is at your leisure to discover the ancient city on your own. We recommend you politely take pictures of high school girls in white traditional Ao dai on bicycles after school time, take picture of charming Perfum River and Trang Tien Bridge at night when the colourful light show starts. Take a slow walk along the river and visit the riverside night market you can also attend Hue folk singing at night on the river, however that is a very local experience. Overnight in Hue.
You will be picked up at 8.00 am then transferred to visit the Imperial Citadel, this was the center of power for the Nguyen Dynasty who ruled between 1802 and 1945. Here, we will visit Flag Tower, NoonGate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City. We will board a boat for a wonderful trip on Perfume River and a visit to Thien Mu pagoda where you will enjoy a vegetarian meal prepared by the local nuns. The afternoon continues with a visit to the fantastic tombs of the emperors Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. You will have free time until transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi you will be welcomed by your driver and transferred to hotel. The rest of the day at your leisure to relax and discover the city on your own, we recommend you visit themany lovely cafes around Hoan Kiem Lake. Overnight in Hanoi.
You will be picked up for the city tour at around 8:00 am. We first head to Tran Quoc Pagoda, a 1400-year-old temple, the oldest in the city and is located near West Lake offering a watery landscape. The pagoda is very scenic attraction. The next destination is the Ho Chi Minh Complex’s, where you have a chance to visit President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Uncle Ho’s House and the One-Pillar pagoda – a very iconic temple in Vietnam. Temple of Literature will be your next stop, here education and study are centre point. After that, we will explore Ngoc Son temple (Temple of Jade Mountain) dedicated to Confucian and Taoist philosophers and the national hero Tran Hung Dao. The temple with its famous Huc bridge is in the centre of Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake. Overnight in Hanoi.
Pick up at your hotel at 8.00 am then we will depart for Halong Bay. On the way we stop at a handicraft workshop for a short break. Enjoy the journey through Red River Delta with lush rice fields, water buffalos and everyday Vietnamese rural life. After we arrive in Halong, check-in on cruise and relax for a while. Then we lift anchor and sail to visit Sung Sot caves where we have one hour for kayaking. We will be cruising between the many lime stones and set anchor at a beautiful spot. As the sun sets over the bay, dinner is served on board with fresh seafood, salads, and fruits. There will also be a cooking class on board, where you can learn to cook some basic Vietnamese dishes. Overnight in Ha Long Bay at the cruise ship.
The beautiful sunrise in Halong bay should never be missed, especially if you are into photography. The breaking of a new day could start with a Tai chi session (if you are keen on early morning exercise). Breakfast will be served on the boat around 7.30 am, you will then have time to enjoy a wholesome brunch as your boat weaves through the magnificent limestone karst formations on your return towards Halong City. Upon disembarkation, you will be transferred back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
