6 Days Halong and Sapa Extensive Trekking

After having breakfast at hotel, depart from Hanoi to Halong city. . Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalos and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board your charming traditional wooden junk for the overnight journey into the Bay. En-route lunch will be served. After that, sailing to visit Sung Sot caves then have one hour for kayaking. Towards the end of the day set anchor for the night. As the sun sets over the bay dinner is served on board with fresh seafood, salads, and fruits. You have free time in evening to enjoy your night on boat. Stay overnight at Ha Long Bay.

Enjoy a breakfast on the main vessel before being transferred to Bright and Dark cave by day boat. Kayaking around safe beach area or rock climbing is in you optional. After lunch on beach, we will move to other beach for kayaking or rock climbing. Back to cruise in the sun set, dinner served onboard followed by movie night, squid fishing or just enjoying a cocktail surrounded by limestone rocks majestically springing out from silent waters in the night. Overnight on cruise.

Breakfast will be served on the boat around 7.30 am then you will have more time to enjoy a wholesome brunch as your boat weaves through the magnificent rock formations on your return towards Halong City. Upon disembarkation your driver will meet you for the transfer back to Hanoi. Drop off at hotel for short rest then we will transfer you to train station for night train to Sapa. Overnight on train.

Pick up service at train station then transfer to Sapa town, on the way we stop at a local restaurant for breakfast. The guide will meet you around 9.00 am to start the day tour. Walking from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley to enjoy the picturesque sceneries of Hoang Lien mountain ranges, meet and get to know the daily life of Black H’mong tribes. Trek through terraced rice paddies and hilltribe villages along the Muong Hoa River. We then cross the suspension bridge towards Zay people’s domain, the Ta Van village, where we will have dinner cooked over woodden fire and enjoy the company and hospitality of Zay family overnight.

After a relaxing night in Sapa, you will enjoy the fresh morning in stunning mountainous sceneries of Hoang Lien Son range. After breakfast, our guide will accompany you to trek through bamboo forests towards Giang Ta Chai waterfall. We will cross a rattan suspension bridge to enter Giang Ta Chai village where the Red Zao minority ethnic group is living. You will be introduced to their daily life routine, their life styles as well as interesting stories that only local guide has to share with you. We then move on to Muong Hoa River up the mountain to visit Su Pan Village of the H’mong people. After the trip, stop for lunch at a local restaurant and then transfer back to Sapa. Overnight at hotel in Sapa town.

We will trek to the South-west of Sapa to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the beautiful waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Continue trekking to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. Enjoy lunch in stunning landscapes before going back back to Sapa. After a refreshing shower we will have dinner before heading to train station. Overnight at sleeper train going to Hanoi.

Approximate 5.00 am, arrive to Hanoi train staion. Get taxi and back to hotel in your own.
